Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 March 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you use Product Jobs Anywhere (this website), why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We aim to keep this short and readable; it is not legal advice.

Who we are

Product Jobs Anywhere is a job board focused on product roles at remote-friendly companies. The site is run by Tam Finlay. When data protection law talks about a “controller”, that is us for the personal information described on this page.

Information we collect when you browse

When you visit pages on the site, our hosting provider (Netlify) and related infrastructure may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this to keep the site secure and working.

We use a privacy-oriented analytics tool (Datafast) to understand how people use the site (for example which pages are popular). You can read how Datafast handles data on their site: datafa.st/privacy.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect the email address you give us (and any other fields we ask for on the form). We use this to send you the newsletter and related job-board updates. Email delivery and list management are handled by Loops (our email provider). You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email we send.

Posting a job (employers)

If you use our “post a job” or employer flow, we collect the information you submit (for example company name, contact details, careers page URL, and anything else the form asks for). We use this to review listings, take payment, and deliver the service.

Cloudflare Turnstile may run on some forms to reduce spam; Cloudflare may process technical data when you complete that step.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers; Stripe handles payment data according to its own terms and privacy policy.

We store employer and lead information in our database (Convex) so we can run the job board and your listing.

If you sign in to an employer dashboard, authentication may be handled by Clerk, which processes account-related data needed to log you in securely.

Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Run and improve the website and job listings
  • Send the newsletter when you have asked for it
  • Handle employer enquiries, listings, and payments
  • Keep the site secure and prevent abuse
  • Meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply

Sharing and international transfers

We use service providers (such as Netlify, Convex, Stripe, Loops, Clerk, Cloudflare, and Datafast) who process data on our behalf. Some of them may store or process data outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by law (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if we are required to by law or to protect our rights and users.

How long we keep data

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including legal, tax, or dispute needs. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or we retire the list. Employer records may be kept longer where we have an ongoing relationship or a legal reason to retain them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

The site is aimed at adults looking for work or hiring. It is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
